“Jarrod has been an integral part of our team, building BetMGM into one of the most recognizable and successful brands in sports betting and iGaming,”
said CEO Adam Greenblatt.
“He has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of our business. I’m confident that this change will ensure we continue to deliver exceptional products and experiences to our players.”
Two Decades of Digital Product Expertise
Schwarz brings 20 years of experience building digital products at world-class brands across e-commerce, sports and entertainment. Before joining BetMGM, he spent more than seven years at Disney, where he contributed to the successful launch of ESPN+, the company’s first direct-to-consumer streaming service. He also spent six years at eBay and served as Vice President of Product for Bloomspot, a startup later acquired by JP Morgan Chase.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to step into this role. It’s a privilege to continue the journey we’ve been on at BetMGM, building on our momentum in sports betting and iGaming,” Schwarz said. “Together with our exceptionally talented team, I look forward to pushing the boundaries of innovation and strengthening our position as a market leader.”
Strategic Reorganization to Support Growth
BetMGM is also moving its strategy, corporate development and select business development functions under the finance organization, led by CFO Gary Deutsch. These organizational updates follow the recent formation of a new iGaming vertical, led by Oliver Bartlett, and a new sports vertical, led by Raymond Doyle.
The structural changes are designed to facilitate more streamlined planning and collaboration while aligning strategic capabilities across the organization.
BetMGM currently operates in 29 markets with mobile and retail offerings. The BetMGM Sportsbook app is accessible on both iOS and Android devices, as well as via desktop at www.betmgm.com.
