SOFTSWISS has promoted Sergey Kastukevich to Chief Technology Officer, reinforcing the iGaming solutions provider’s commitment to technology stability and scalable infrastructure as it executes its 2026 strategic roadmap.
Kastukevich joins the senior leadership team after more than five years as Deputy Chief Technology Officer, where he played a central role in developing SOFTSWISS’ technology foundations. His promotion comes as the company prioritizes disciplined engineering execution and long-term platform scalability to support continued growth.
In 2025, Kastukevich received recognition as CTO of the Year in EMEA at the Oracle Excellence Awards, acknowledging his contributions to technology leadership and engineering standards. During his tenure as Deputy CTO, he oversaw the development of solutions designed to operate in complex, high-load, and heavily regulated environments.
Technology Leadership and Strategic Priorities
In his new role, Kastukevich will oversee SOFTSWISS’ technology roadmap, including software architecture, infrastructure strategy, security protocols, and reliability standards. His responsibilities will focus on maintaining technical excellence across product development and ensuring systems can scale effectively as the business grows.
The company noted that engineering productivity and systematic technology advancement will be key areas of focus under Kastukevich’s leadership. In 2025, he led several technology initiatives, including an internal conference that convened more than 100 engineers and developers working on SOFTSWISS products, as well as industry events aimed at fostering collaboration within the broader technology community.
“Sergey has consistently demonstrated the kind of leadership that is critical for a technology-driven business – strong engineering judgement, long-term thinking, and the ability to build systems that perform under pressure,” said Ivan Montik, Founder of SOFTSWISS. “His promotion to CTO aligns with our strategy for 2026, where platform stability, scalability, and technological discipline are key pillars of sustainable growth.”
Focus on Technical Foundations and Innovation
Kastukevich emphasized that his priorities as CTO will center on strengthening the technical infrastructure that enables secure, high-quality product delivery while driving innovation across the company’s solutions.
“In this role, my focus will remain on strengthening the technical foundations that enable rapid, secure, and high-quality delivery while also driving innovation across everything we do,” Kastukevich stated. “At SOFTSWISS, technology leadership means not only ensuring reliability and scalability, but also shaping a culture where engineers can create forward-looking solutions and continuously evolve our products. I am committed to further strengthening SOFTSWISS as a trusted technology company that sets new standards for the iGaming industry.”
The CTO appointment forms part of SOFTSWISS’ broader technology and product strategy for 2026. The company recently announced the creation of a Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer position, signaling its intention to integrate AI more deeply into its business infrastructure and product offerings.
SOFTSWISS provides a range of iGaming solutions, including casino platforms, game aggregation, and sportsbook technology, serving licensed operators across multiple regulated markets. The company maintains operations across several jurisdictions and continues to expand its technology capabilities to meet evolving industry requirements.
