This policy explains how EpicWins chooses, writes and labels what it publishes. It applies to every article on the site.
What we cover
EpicWins reports business news for people who work in iGaming, prediction markets and crypto: regulation, company results, people moves, products, events and industry trends. We write for professionals, not for players or retail investors.
How we work
- Every article has a named author. The author page shows who they are and what they have written.
- We report what we can support with a source: a company statement, a regulator's publication, a filing, a court document or a person we have spoken to.
- We name our sources and link to the original document when it is online.
- We ask the companies and people we write about for comment when a story makes a claim about them.
- Headlines say what the article says. We do not write headlines that promise more than the text delivers.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made by the editors. Advertisers, sponsors and the companies we cover do not see articles before they are published and cannot change them.
How content is labelled
- Press release: text supplied by a company, published under the label "Press release". We check that it comes from the company named, but the claims in it are the company's own.
- Featured: paid, branded content. It always carries the label "Featured".
- Advertisement: every ad space on the site is marked as an advertisement.
- Everything else is editorial content written by our team.
Conflicts of interest
Writers do not report on companies in which they hold a financial interest. If a conflict cannot be avoided, the article says so.
