Stake, the world’s largest online casino and sportsbook, has rolled out an update on 22 October to its Keno game, refreshing the look of one of the classic titles in the Stake Originals collection and giving players more control over how they pick and play. The update is available to players worldwide from 22 October.

Keno has always been one of the simplest games in the Stake Originals line-up: pick your numbers, choose a difficulty, and see how many land. This update keeps that fast, single-player format exactly as it is, with no change to the game’s maths or payouts, while making every round easier to read and quicker to set up.

Random Pick now lets players choose exactly how many numbers to pick, from one to ten, through a new Numbers to Pick dropdown, with the Random Pick and Clear Table buttons now sitting side by side. Players can also press and drag to select or unselect several tiles at once, and their last pick and difficulty are now saved between sessions, so returning players can jump straight back in. Auto and Instant play have been sped up by 33% and 15% respectively, and the win modal can now be hidden with a single click.

On the visual side of things, Keno’s tiles have been redesigned with smoother animations and interactions, and winning tiles will now light up with a new gem animation. The pay table has been rebuilt to take up less space and read more clearly, particularly on mobile, where its tooltips are now easily accessible as well as improvements to the desktop layout across various screen sizes.

Keno is the latest Stake Originals title to get a refresh on Stake Casino, keeping the game players know while making every round smoother to play.

Industry context

Stake Originals are the in-house games on the Stake casino, and Keno sits among the simplest of them. The company says the update changes the interface and the bet controls only, so the maths and payouts that players already know stay as they were.

The release is available to players worldwide, but Stake’s licensing position differs by market. In Brazil, Provisional Measure 1,394, signed by President Lula on 25 September 2026, bans online fixed-odds betting and online casino, and all authorisations under Law 14.790 end on 25 October. EpicWins reported on the Brazil betting ban that Stake won a partial preliminary injunction that let it operate until 25 October, and that a higher federal court later quashed the ruling.
