Nevada casinos generated $1.24 billion in gaming revenue in February 2026, up 1.5% year-on-year, according to data from the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The result extends the state’s run of monthly wins above $1 billion to 60 consecutive months, or five full years.
Strip Holds At $696.3m
The Las Vegas Strip accounted for $696.3 million, up 0.86% year-on-year and representing 56% of statewide gaming revenue. Performance held despite softer tourism conditions. The Nevada Gaming Control Board noted that last February marked the beginning of a period of lower visitor numbers in Las Vegas, but casino winnings proved resilient to the decline.
Locals casinos contributed meaningfully to the statewide result. The balance of Clark County generated approximately $148 million, up 2.87% year-on-year.
Strip operators including Caesars Entertainment and Las Vegas Sands have both reported robust revenue figures in recent quarters, with the February statewide data reinforcing the general direction of Strip performance heading into the spring period.
Regional Results Mixed
Outside the metropolitan core, regional results were split. Reno posted a 7.73% increase to $60.6 million, while Mesquite grew 5.16% to $17.4 million. Downtown Las Vegas declined 4.18% to $69.8 million, and Laughlin fell 8.83% to $38.5 million.
Baccarat Drives Strip Gains
Baccarat was a notable contributor to Strip performance. Casinos won nearly $120 million from the game, with players losing approximately $32 million more than in the same month a year earlier. The hold percentage came in at 14.6%, a figure reflecting the strength of high-end table play during the month.
Fiscal Year Trajectory
Nevada is running ahead of pace for the current fiscal year, which runs July 1 to June 30, by approximately $83 million, or 0.79%. The Strip, however, is behind its own fiscal year pace by about $62 million, or 0.88%, pointing to a slight divergence between statewide and corridor-specific trends.
Gaming tax collections reached $775.8 million for the fiscal year to date, up 1.6% on the prior period.
February’s figure adds to a sustained run of strength for the Nevada market. The state recorded a full-year record of $15.8 billion in gaming revenue in 2025, underlining the structural resilience of a market now five years into its post-pandemic recovery trajectory.
