New Jersey’s online casino market achieved a significant milestone in October, with the Division of Gaming Enforcement reporting $260.3 million in internet gaming revenue. The figure marks the state’s first monthly total exceeding $250 million after approaching the threshold multiple times throughout 2025.
Garden State platforms generated between $243.2 million and $248.4 million on five separate occasions earlier in the year, with August representing the previous high point. October’s performance delivered a 21.8% year-over-year increase, rebounding from September’s more modest 16.8% growth rate.
The state’s year-to-date online casino revenue now stands at nearly $2.39 billion, falling just $2.1 million short of the entire 2024 calendar year total with two months remaining.
Record Tax Revenue for New Jersey
October’s record gaming revenue generated $51.5 million in tax receipts for New Jersey. The state’s 19.75% online casino tax rate, which took effect July 1 at the start of the fiscal year, has produced $197.7 million in receipts during its first four months of implementation.
Total gaming revenue across all verticals—including online casinos, sports betting, and Atlantic City land-based casinos—reached $611.1 million in October, representing a 22.3% increase from the same month in 2024. All three sectors posted double-digit year-over-year growth, with sports betting revenue surging 49.8% to $116.1 million and brick-and-mortar casino winnings increasing 12.5% to $234.7 million.
FanDuel Extends Market Leadership
FanDuel Casino continued to separate itself from competitors, reporting state-record monthly revenue of $60.9 million. The operator became the first New Jersey platform to exceed both $55 million and $60 million in monthly earnings.
October’s total represented a 26.1% increase from October 2024. FanDuel’s calendar year revenue of $533.4 million is up 30.5% compared to the first ten months of 2024, already surpassing its full-year 2024 performance. The operator has now generated more than $1 billion in revenue since the Division of Gaming Enforcement began publishing operator-specific figures at the start of 2024.
Operating under the Golden Nugget license, FanDuel led the five platforms under that partnership to combined record revenue of $79.9 million. Golden Nugget’s internal platform contributed $10.6 million, while BetRivers added $8 million.
DraftKings Maintains Second Position
DraftKings retained its position as New Jersey’s second-largest online casino operator with $48.5 million in October revenue, falling $1.5 million short of the $50 million mark. The total represented a 6.3% year-over-year increase, though the growth rate trails the operator’s 11% year-to-date performance.
DraftKings has recorded five monthly totals between $48 million and $49.6 million in 2025. Resorts’ combined online casino revenue of $56.6 million marked the second-highest monthly total in the property’s history, trailing only last December’s $58.4 million.
The Borgata secured the second position among Atlantic City license-holders with $58.9 million in combined platform revenue, narrowly edging Resorts. BetMGM posted record winnings of $33.2 million, a 30.2% increase from October 2024. The Borgata’s proprietary platform became the fourth operator to surpass $20 million, generating $21.9 million—a 33.3% increase and the property’s second-highest monthly total after March’s $22.4 million.
Fanatics Posts Strong Growth
Fanatics Casino reported record October revenue of $13 million, representing a 250.4% year-over-year increase and more than double September’s $5.1 million. The operator has demonstrated significant volatility in recent months, with a $9.4 million revenue range over the past five months. Fanatics has achieved three monthly totals exceeding $10 million in the last four months, while also recording three months below $5 million during the calendar year.
Caesars Palace generated $16.9 million in revenue, a 15.4% increase from the prior year, while Hard Rock posted $14.3 million—setting a new platform record by approximately $133,000. Eight operators surpassed $10 million in monthly revenue during October.
