The partnership, which launches with the upcoming NBA season on October 24, 2025, introduces real-time betting integration features designed to enhance the basketball viewing experience for fans across North America.
Real-Time Bet Tracking and Odds Integration
Prime Video subscribers who opt in can now link their FanDuel accounts to their Prime Video profiles, allowing them to track their active NBA bets in real-time during live game broadcasts. The personalized bet tracking feature displays bet status, progress updates, and won/lost results directly on screen during game action.
The integration does not permit users to place bets directly through Prime Video. All wagers must be made via FanDuel’s sportsbook platform before games begin.
An Odds View feature provides viewers with a rotating feed of live betting lines, including moneylines, spreads, totals, player props, parlays, and game props. The overlay adds real-time context to game action by showing how players and teams are performing relative to betting markets.
Blake Griffin Named FanDuel Ambassador
As part of the agreement, Blake Griffin, who serves as an NBA analyst for Prime Video’s basketball coverage, will act as an ambassador for FanDuel’s NBA offerings. The former NBA star will appear across FanDuel’s creative campaigns, on-air integrations, social media content, and live events.
“Our partnership as the official odds provider for NBA and WNBA on Prime Video represents a significant milestone in how we connect with basketball fans,” said Mike Raffensperger, President of Sports at FanDuel. “By integrating custom content into Prime Video’s NBA broadcasts, we will enhance the fan viewing experience and connect with new audiences.”
Responsible Gaming Focus
Both companies emphasize that responsible gaming is central to the bet tracking and Odds View experience. The bet tracking feature is entirely optional and can be disabled through Prime Video mobile app settings. FanDuel offers tools for customers to set limits and engage safely with the platform.
Amazon’s NBA Broadcast Expansion
The FanDuel partnership coincides with Amazon’s entry into NBA broadcasting rights. The company secured an 11-year media rights deal valued at approximately $77 billion alongside Disney’s ESPN and Comcast’s NBCUniversal. Prime Video will also carry WNBA games beginning next season.
Amazon’s Prime Video NBA coverage launches October 24, 2025, with a doubleheader featuring the Boston Celtics. The streaming platform is expanding its live sports portfolio, which already includes NFL Thursday Night Football, WNBA games, and regional sports network content through FanDuel Sports Networks.
Jay Marine, Prime Video’s Head of Video for U.S., Global Sports and Advertising, stated:
“As we tip off this long-term relationship with the NBA, we’re excited to launch a best-in-class bet tracking experience with FanDuel, as well as a wide-ranging suite of broadcast innovations to enhance Prime Video’s comprehensive NBA offerings.”
The partnership positions FanDuel as a premier sponsor of NBA on Prime, integrating the sportsbook’s market data and betting insights into one of professional basketball’s major broadcast platforms.
