FanDuel has appointed Ari Avishay as Senior Vice President of Marketing, bringing on board a veteran entertainment marketer to lead brand strategy across its expanding portfolio of sports betting and gaming products.
Avishay joins FanDuel from Paramount+, where he served as SVP of Content Marketing, overseeing brand, content, social, and partner marketing operations across more than 45 international markets. In his new role, he will direct marketing strategy for FanDuel Sportsbook, FanDuel TV, and Stardust casino, with responsibility for brand positioning, creative development, and consumer insights.
The appointment positions Avishay to shape FanDuel’s product marketing and customer engagement strategy through integrated campaigns and data-driven storytelling initiatives. He will report directly to Mike Raffensperger, President of Sports at FanDuel.
Extensive Entertainment Marketing Background
Prior to his tenure at Paramount+, Avishay held the position of Vice President of Content Marketing at Hulu, where he led campaigns for high-profile series and films including The Handmaid’s Tale. His background also includes serving as Director of Culture and Entertainment at Lyft, demonstrating experience across streaming platforms and consumer technology brands.
“Ari brings a proven track record of driving brand awareness, cultural relevance, and meaningful growth for iconic brands at the intersection of content, media, sports, and entertainment,” said Raffensperger. “As FanDuel continues to define the future of sports entertainment, Ari’s experience and perspective will help take our brand to the next level.”
Marketing Leadership Transition
Avishay’s appointment follows the departure of Andrew Sneyd, who left his position as Executive Vice President of Marketing in July 2025. The hiring reflects FanDuel’s continued investment in marketing leadership as the company expands its presence across sports betting, online casino, and streaming entertainment.
FanDuel operates licensed sportsbook and casino products across multiple U.S. jurisdictions and maintains its position as one of the leading operators in the American sports betting market. The company’s portfolio includes regulated sports wagering, online casino gaming through the Stardust brand, and sports streaming content via FanDuel TV.
