Internal Promotion Strengthens Leadership Klockenbrink’s appointment represents an internal promotion within the company. She began her career at Merkur in May 2015 as coordinator of national and international controlling for Merkur Casino. The Bad Oeynhausen native spent nearly a decade as head of controlling at the Merkur subsidiary. Before joining the corporate group, Klockenbrink held various leadership positions in the finance and accounting departments of international corporations, where she managed projects in international accounting and taxation. Leadership Transition Reflects Company Growth Strategy Meik Sellenriek, board member for Merkur Operations at Merkur.com AG, welcomed the appointment as a logical step forward for the organization. “We are pleased to have Pamela Klockenbrink as our new managing director. Her years of service with the company have given her substantial industry knowledge and experience,” said Sellenriek. “This background will serve as the foundation to continue developing Merkur Casino successfully and guide it into a promising future.” Klockenbrink expressed appreciation for the confidence placed in her with the appointment to the executive board. “My goal is to play a significant role in shaping and advancing the successful development of Merkur Casino GmbH together with my colleague Benjamin Bredenkamp and our dedicated team,” said Klockenbrink. “I look forward to the challenges ahead.” The leadership change comes as Merkur Casino continues to expand its presence in the European land-based gaming sector, building on five decades of operations and market expertise.
