Leadership Transition Marks Strategic Succession Planning
Molino will replace current COO Corey Sanders, who will retire on December 31, 2025, after more than 30 years of service with MGM Resorts. Sanders will continue as an advisor to the company’s leadership team through the end of 2026, ensuring a smooth transition period.
Currently serving as President and COO of ARIA and Vdara, Molino has demonstrated exceptional operational leadership at two of Las Vegas’ most prestigious properties. Under her guidance, ARIA has achieved record-breaking performance across multiple metrics, including EBITDAR, annual revenue, hotel and casino revenue, Average Daily Rate (ADR), and Gold+ Net Promoter Scores.
“Ayesha is a gifted strategic thinker and operator who excels at managing complex operations while earning respect from colleagues and peers throughout the company,” said Bill Hornbuckle, President and CEO of MGM Resorts. “Her ability to unite teams, drive results, and navigate challenges makes her an ideal leader to succeed Corey as COO.”
Digital Strategy Leadership Reinforced
Gary Fritz’s appointment as Chief Commercial Officer and President of MGM Digital reflects MGM Resorts’ commitment to advancing its omni-channel strategy. Fritz previously served as President of MGM Resorts International Interactive, where he played a crucial role in expanding the BetMGM brand into international markets, including Brazil.
“Gary has been instrumental in establishing and advancing our digital strategy through acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and organic expansion of our BetMGM brand into new markets,” Hornbuckle noted. “His new role will bring together Digital, Gaming, Marketing, and Advertising operations as we accelerate our omni-channel strategy and drive growth in digital and iGaming sectors.”
Fritz brings extensive multinational corporate experience, having held senior positions at Expedia, McKinsey & Company, and IAC. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for both BetMGM and LeoVegas.
