Push Gaming Names Alistair Johnston as CCO

Push Gaming has appointed Alistair Johnston as Chief Commercial Officer

Push Gaming has appointed Alistair Johnston as Chief Commercial Officer, with Italy and Brazil named as immediate expansion targets. Johnston joins from Games Global, where he spent four years leading studio go-to-market strategy, and previously held senior commercial roles at Evolution and Microgaming.

The hire is the second senior leadership appointment at Push Gaming in 2026. Chris Arriola joined as Chief Operating Officer earlier this year. CEO James Marshall has described 2026 as a landmark year for the business, and the back-to-back C-suite additions signal a deliberate buildout of commercial infrastructure ahead of broader market expansion.

Italy, Brazil, and PrizeFlex in the frame

Johnston’s remit covers commercial expansion in Italy and Brazil, team scaling, and deepening distribution partnerships. His role also includes the continued rollout of PrizeFlex, Push Gaming’s proprietary player engagement mechanic, which the company has been positioning as a competitive differentiator in regulated markets.

Both markets represent meaningful growth opportunities. Brazil’s regulated betting market generated $7bn in GGR and attracted 25 million bettors in its first year of full operation. Italy is among the more tightly regulated slots markets in Europe, with a new licensing regime carrying 52 active permits now in force.

I am delighted to join Push Gaming having long admired their pioneering approach to game development. I look forward to delivering world-class experiences to more players by expanding our footprint in key regulated markets like Italy and Brazil, while enhancing their engagement through PrizeFlex. By scaling our team in 2026, we will deepen our existing partnerships and launch a diversified roadmap designed to empower our global customers.

A hire built for distribution scale

Johnston’s background at Evolution and Games Global positions him well for the task. Evolution reported a 66.4% EBITDA margin in Q4 2025 despite European regulatory headwinds, a reflection of the distribution infrastructure Johnston will have operated within. Games Global, built largely from the Microgaming third-party studio network, is similarly distribution-heavy across regulated markets globally.

Push Gaming distributes content across more than 20 regulated markets. Its catalogue includes Razor Shark, Wild Swarm, and Jammin’ Jars. The Great Banker launched in January 2026.

2026 is set to be a landmark year for Push Gaming, and bringing Alistair on board as Chief Commercial Officer is a statement of intent. His track record speaks for itself — having played a key role in the growth of both Games Global and Evolution, two of the most recognised names in iGaming. With our slate of upcoming releases and the continued momentum behind our player-favourite titles, Alistair’s commercial expertise will be instrumental in taking Push Gaming to the next level.

Push Gaming has been in production since 2010 and focuses on player-first bonus mechanics and game mathematics.
