Company-Wide Fundraising Effort Since launching in November 2024, the partnership has generated significant funds through company-wide participation across evoke’s teams and locations. Two flagship “evoke the stars” events raised £117,000 and £153,000 respectively, contributing substantially to the overall total. Colleagues have participated in diverse fundraising activities including a Bike and Hike event, pitch days, half marathons, and customer donation collections in retail shops. The company also hosted an MND Race Day at Ripon Racecourse, which raised £33,000. Personal Connection Drives Partnership The partnership originated from an internal colleague nomination process, with the MND Association nominated by Leisa Beyers, a retail area manager at evoke. Beyers put forward the nomination following her niece Tamara’s ongoing battle with motor neurone disease. The cause holds particular significance for evoke’s Leeds workforce, where the company maintains a major employment presence. The passing of former Leeds Rhinos player Rob Burrow in 2024 brought renewed national attention to MND and its impact on communities across the UK. Addressing a Critical Need More than 5,000 people receive an MND diagnosis each year across the UK, with the condition continuing to affect families and communities nationwide. The Motor Neurone Disease Association provides research funding, care support, and advocacy for those living with the condition. With the partnership now extended through 2027, evoke and the MND Association have committed to reaching the ambitious £1 million fundraising milestone, building on the momentum established during the partnership’s first months. Evoke operates multiple regulated betting and gaming brands across international markets, including William Hill, 888, and Mr Green, serving customers through retail, online, and mobile platforms.
